PATTERN A BIMINI TOP W/FULL ENCLOSURE

A bimini top typically covers the  helm and of the seating area of a boat. It has framing and is supported by stanchions or straps to keep it up. Many times it will have enclosure curtains zipped to it for protection against

This training video has two chapters. The first chapter details the process of setting up frames for a three bow bimini top to pattern that will also include patterning an enclosure to go with it. Learning the "Dot System" of patterning shows the fabricator how to make patterns for the bimini top and enclosure in one trip to the boat. This process saves multiple trips to the boat, thereby saving time and money.

The second chapter shows the process of "working" the patterns that were made at the boat. It details where to add seam allowances, finished edges and zipper starts/stops. The patterns will have all the information on them needed to take you to the next step, cutting and sewing. This subject comes in two sections and is approximately 1 hour 15 min. total.
